February is National Children's Dental Health Month!


Every year, oral health professionals and organizations recognize February as National Children's Dental Health Month (NCDHM). This is an opportunity to promote the importance of good oral health care to children, their caregivers and children's health professionals across the country. 


OHNEP Clinical Collaboration with GoMo Health to Improve Oncology Oral Care

The OHNEP team collaborated with GoMo Health to develop an innovative oral health module to be integrated into the GoMo Concierge Care oncology digital therapeutic. This fills a much needed gap in addressing oral care management as part of patient-focused cancer clinical pathways.

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, an initiative from the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID). Every year, about 196,000 women in the US are diagnosed with cervical precancers that require treatment.

This new article from the Journal of Dental Education, co-authored by the OHNEP Team and our interprofessional oral health partners, evaluates the effectiveness of the annual Teaching Oral-Systemic Health (TOSH) student interprofessional experience.
