New Blog Posting at our page All 4 Oral Health!

March is brain injury awareness month, an initiative led by the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA). This campaign aims to educate the general public on the needs of those affected by a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and empower those who have survived TBIs and their compassionate caregivers by raising awareness.

Our new blog hopes to raise awareness about intimate partner violence (IPV) and the need for appropriate screening by health care providers - dentists, dental hygienists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, midwives, nurses and physician assistants, to name a few. Survivors of IPV can experience severe oral trauma and TBIs as a result of IPV, and timely identification can reduce the incidence of TBIs and further health complications in this group.
